On this webpage you will learn how to work with real cipher machines, from World War II to the end of the Cold War, and with an unbreakable one-time pad (OTP) cipher. We use simulators with realistic controls and sounds. For each cipher machine you will learn how to correctly set up internal settings, how to set up a daily key or message key and how to write a message in the correct format. For each machine you will learn the original procedure and the procedure for our NOGSIM network. In the video for each machine, there is a detailed step-by-step description with graphical representation and practical examples to make it easy for everyone.

For encryption/decryption in the NOGSIM network, modified procedures and own codebooks are created for each cipher machine. We have four cipher machines and a one-time pad cipher and they have different message format. Therefore, I have created a unified message format for the NOGSIM network, it will be clear how the message is encrypted.

Currently, it is possible to send encrypted messages via email or in the comments of YouTube videos. In the future, there will be a forum for leaving written and audio messages.
